Refošk and Malvazija, the two typical Istrian wines. Which is better? We will search for the answer at two renowned Istrian winemakers, where we will learn about the different methods of vine cultivation and about the production and processing of the grapes. Each has his own way of cellaring, but all of their wines are exquisite.

From the collection point (Koper, Piran, Portorož, Izola) we go to the selected winemaker. We try Refošk and Malvazija and some other varieties of wine at the first stop, and then continue on our way to the second winemaker. Through the tasting of wines, we find similarities and differences, both in wine and in the production and processing of grapes. We complete the visit of the winemaker by visiting the wine cellar and taking a short walk through the vineyard.

The excursion is suitable as a half day or full day trip through Istria, individually, for closed groups or families with children. We can add lunch, additional tastings (olive oil, truffles, seasonal fruits or seasonal herbs) or customise the content for a teambuilding event.
