The villages on our path, Truške, Gonjači, Vršič, Kozloviči and Bočaji, are like pearls strung on a necklace above the Dragonja river valley. Together we will visit them and we may take a turn into the unknown, away from the beaten track. Istria is special all year round. In the Spring, when everything turn green and wakes up from hibernation, in the Summer, when the sunlight helps our eyes see the many hidden treasures to Autumn, when the vineyards and olive trees come alive, to Winter, when the northern wind Bora blows through the villages of Istria. Always wrapped in amazing colours and smells.

Through the Dragonja valley (on foot or cycling through Istria), we discover the green of Slovenian Istria; the nature takes us away from the city’s hustle and bustle. This walk is adapted to the pace of the group with at least two stops:

• we look for glade, where we picnic and taste locally-produced delicacies,
• visit the winemakers and find new strength while tasting local Istrian wines.

On our path, we explore the Istrian landscape and its customs and stories.

The excursion is suitable as a half day or full day trip through Istria, individually, for closed groups or families with children. We can add lunch, additional tastings (olive oil, truffles, seasonal fruits or seasonal herbs) or customise the content for a teambuilding event.
